Ajax:  (sleeping heavily but uneasily)

Ajax dreams of being pursued by an impossibly-large, furred black spider
through a twisting maze of dark tunnels.  His feet seem leaden, while the
spider possesses incredible agility and speed.  He looks back to gauge the
spider's progress, but when he turns his head back around to the dark
corridor in front of him he slams into a solid blackness-- an 
impenetrable, solid void.  Fearfully, he takes a few steps back and
reaches for his sword, but finds it missing, along with all his equipment. 
From the blackness steps a huge, hairy foot, broad and five-toed, and then
a muscular leg becomes visible.  In slow motion, this new creature
continues to emerge, and eventually a tall, powerful-looking bipedal
winged beast stands before Ajax.  Its body is covered in reddish-brown fur
except for its bat-like wings, and its head resembles a bull's.  The
thing's black eyes stare cruelly at the halfling... then it exhales a
blast of fire which completely engulfs the terrified warrior. 

Ajax:  (wakes suddenly in a sweat)
